Full Figured Megspetite – very small; “diminutive in stature”; “a lilliputian chest of drawers”; “her petite figure”; “tiny feet”; “the flyspeck nation of Bahrain moved toward democracy”

What do we know about petite? Short? Yes. Tiny? Of course. However, how about short with curves. Now that’s rare. At 4’11, I’ve been having a difficult time finding clothes that fit me. Not only do I have a problem finding clothing that fit lengthwise, I have also been having a problem finding clothing that fit me all around. Yep, I have fat/flab/beer belly/muffin top/etc. However I’ve learned to love myself no matter what. I’ve lost over 40 lbs. in a year and still been finding fabulous clothing that fit and enhance my curves.

Why did I start curvy petite? I’m an active follower of plenty of petite blogs on the internet. However most of them seem to be petite all around. I wish I was a size 0, or heck I wish my stomach wouldn’t get in the way of some outfits sometimes. Yet I am not, but I still found ways to dress successfully for my body. I feel that if I am having this problem, there might be other petite women out there who are having the same problem as me. Hence the birth of Curvy Petite.
